Howdy!

I'm a Sound Designer from Belton, TX, currently living in Minneapolis, MN with my better half Leo and our two dogs. Thanks for visiting!

As a child, my mother (a recreational therapist) taught me the joy of making, and of play. At five years old, my father decided video games were "the next big thing" and bought me "the best thing available," an Xbox. I became enamored with video games, and later in high school I picked up a guitar and was introduced to Unity 3D. I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Visualization at Texas A&M University, where I mingled with animators, game designers, programmers, and performers, eventually forging my own path in Sound Design.

I went on to pursue an MFA in Sound Design at the Savannah College of Art & Design, when the Covid 19 Pandemic struck. While this would force me to finish my degree largely with online classes, it also opened up remote opportunities that were previously only offered in-person. I was selected for Turn 10 Studios' Summer Apprenticeship program, later joining the team fully and shipping Forza Motorsport (2023). In the following year, I worked with Meta's Creative Audio team developing Meta Horizon Worlds, and most recently, I've joined forces with Warner Brothers and Epic Games to work on Fortnite, where I continue to find solutions and find the joy in making play.

In my free time, I can be found playing video and board games, learning about history, watching Formula 1 racing or Minnesota Wild Hockey, tinkering with my OG Xbox, cooking, or enjoying a beer (not mutually exclusive).

Some additional fun facts:

• Yes, I do deliberately say Howdy as a greeting.
• My dogs collectively have 3 eyes and 2 working ears.
• I can deadlift 140 kg and I'm hoping to run a 5k in Spring 2026.
• Pineapple belongs on pizza. This isn't about me, this is a fact.
